Our Vision:
Improved health through drug discovery, development and delivery enhanced by electronic healthcare information

Our Charter:
Comprehensive information about patients and their care will be integrated and available electronically. This is already happening in some countries around the world and will be expanding rapidly over the next 5-10-20 years. This will change the way we look after our health and how health care is delivered, and it will open up new opportunities for advances in medicine.

...and therefore the challenge for us is:

To have a clear understanding of how the health care sector is developing as a result of this technological change in order that we can: participate effectively in shaping that development; take advantage of new opportunities for the discovery, development and use of our drugs; and enhance the reputation of GSK.

eHIi will play a key role in positioning GSK as an influencing agent in this evolving area.

Asset Empowerment ( AeP )
AeP is a process that guides the project teams towards integrating, enriching and embedding the thinking about Disease Management into the development plan. AeP Process integrates many learnings from the Focus on the Patient initiative.
